As the City of Calgary remains in a state of local emergency, the health and safety of our staff and of all Albertans, remains a priority. A high volume of locate requests is expected to support clean-up efforts; however, because many of our staff have been impacted by the flood, we will have limited personnel to process those requests. In that regard, AOC will focus on emergency and priority locate requests only until further notice. The situation will be monitored on an ongoing basis allowing us to return to normal operating conditions when appropriate. We will continue to provide backup assistance and after hours emergency processing.

I urge all or partners in safety to share this information and underscore the importance of contacting us to trigger and follow the Damage Prevention Process.
